We started with a breakfast party. Cora and I made and hung balloon decorations and the "Happy Birthday" Sign. Henry came up from watching cartoons and made oooh and aahhh sounds. We made Strawberry pancakes and set the table with oj and milk glasses. After breakfast we opened presents-jellybeans from the kids and an Ipod nano from me.
After that we all got dressed and went to play at the Elm Creek Park Reserve despite the gray weather. We had a blast!
For dinner we had sauer kraut and pork roast and then a heath cake with 30 honest to goodness candles on it. Then the kids danced in the living room and then headed off for bed.
The next morning we went to explore Taylors Falls and Interstate State Park. Except for the dangerous combination of slippery rocks and small children, it was stress free and fun. We had a great time exploring once the kids were strapped into the double stroller!
