School Days

We've become negligent bloggers. Forgive us, but it's the fact. I also don't necessarily see things getting any better either. Here's an update.

Henry began homeschool preschool in August and is having a great time learning the alphabet, his numbers, and colors. He really loves storytime and is a very good student. He's been listening to the tales of Winnie the Pooh and more.

Cora's begun Dance classes (ballet and tap.) She's also attending religious ed classes at St. Vincent's as well. Her studies are going pretty great and she's having fun. Her favorite subject is Math.

She also loves art and music and literature. We've been reading the Betsy Tacy books. We've been enjoying fall and have been outside as much as we could. We had to postpone our Pine Tree Apple Orchard field trip with homeschooling friends a few weeks ago though as Beth was sick.

Fall Art Project

We usually have preschool on M and W. First Grade is M-Th. Cora is teacher's helper during preschool and Henry sits at the little table while Cora does her first grade work. This day, they were working on a sock puppet project. It's really fun to homeschool!
