As a parting gift to the little house, we're giving it a new kitchen, refinished floors, and a heated, finished basement.
Here's some of the work Adam and I did this weekend.
The kids watched movies downstairs. Alice slept in the pack-n-play in our old bedroom, and I did all kinds of misc. stuff while waiting to help Adam with the two person parts of the job as he needed me. My big thing yesterday was putting polyurethane on the unfinished basement doors. Big, stinky job. But boy do they look nice now... We were told we had two different parties put in applications to rent the place for Jan 1st. Both are good and strong candidates. It's exciting and a relief, but now we've really got to stick with it and get everything done. HOORAY!
