He's doing it!!!

Henry's slept through the night for the last five nights! I can't begin to tell you the joy and elation we're feeling here! Adam and I can see life heading back to a more normal pace.

Two Monday's ago, we started Henry on soy formula which has seemed to make a big difference. We also weaned him of his pacifier and started to do cluster feeding religiously. We also began the pick up/putdown method for teaching babies to sleep. Though it seems like a lot of changes, it worked like a charm. After even the first night there was a dramatic difference. And now the last five nights, he's slept from 9-6:45! (We do a dreamfeed at 11:30 though, but he's sleeping when it happens.)

So, with him sleeping through the night, we've actually been able to go out more during the day (it hasn't affected him) and Cora's been able to play with friends more and go outside in the fresh air and OH it's FABULOUS to get out into the world again without the stress of him not sleeping. Thank you, God, for this fabulous gift of sleep. Cora's still getting teeth in but we must getting close to the end.

Every morning, Cora and Henry sit at the table in the kitchen together and they talk and play games. Henry loves to watch Cora and she can make him laugh and smile so easily. I love to sit with my cup of coffee and watch them interact. I'm looking forward to when he can talk too.
