We carved pumpkins a few nights before Halloween. Cora drew thh face she wanted on a piece of paper and Mommy copied it in carving on her pumpkin. Henry chose to have a sad face on his pumpkin. Daddy carved his own to make it look like the cartoon character Doug.
The kids and I made carmel apples at home in the afternoon. That was tasty! We got dressed right after naptime. Cora as Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and Henry as a Tiger. We piled into the car and went to Daddy's office to trick or treat (show off our beautiful kids!)
Then we went to Aunt Abby's office. She was totally shocked to see us. She ooohed and aaahed and then after grabbing some snacks and treats (sorry, we forgot the camera... next year pictures of trick or treating at Abby's!) we were off to Uptown to trick or Treat at Aunt Em's.
The kids knocked at the door and were welcomed in by their sweet Aunty. We visited for a little while and then went back to our own neighborhood.
We visited our neighbor, Barb Holland and many other houses on our circle. Henry loved to say "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you!." Cora ran with such exuberance from door to door, knocking and calling Trick or Treat all by herself. It was just a joy to watch it. When we were cold, and tired and with bags full of candy, we trudged home. Warm baths to wash sticky hands and faces ended the night. All in all, an excellent Halloween.

The pumpkin wasn't carved to look like Doug the cartoon! That must have just been an accident!
I didn't even know that you thought my pumkin looked like Doug.
