My dear friend Kristen came to visit us the other day bearing a birthday gift for Cora. I think these are probably my favorite accessories of all time. Thanks again, Kristen!
My favorite memory created by these boots so far was the last time Cora and I went to the Minnewaska beach with Grandma Wendy and Grandpa Dan. Cora picked her boots to wear so she wouldn't get sand in her shoes. She knew they'd be tall enough. So seeing my little cowgirl in her green tinkerbell swimsuit and cowgirl boots with the wind blowing her hair and the waves washing up to her.

What a great image! Pretty smart of her to figure out they're tall enough not to let sand in, too. But we already knew she's a smart cookie. :)
