Henry Is Baptised

Henry's Baptism went off without a hitch. We met at the church at at 12:00 and the service began at 12:30. My sister Emily and and Adam's uncle Steve blessed our family by agreeing to sponsor Henry as Godparents. Father Terrence officiated.

We came back after the ceremony for Grandma Jackie's Ham salad sandwhiches, German potato salad, Rueben dip, and cake. Guests included: Grandpa Tom Roesch, Grandma Wendy, Grandpa Dan, Aunt Abby, Great Grandma Nita, my uncle Dave and Ginger, Kris and Kyle Galvin, and Father Terrence.

As the card we recieved from Great Grandma Millie says:

"Sweet little baby, sweet gift from above, now touched by the Spirit with life-giving love, the Lord guide your family and help them to know each way they can nurture your faith as you grow."

Thought I better catch up on the Roesch Family news and going-ons! Great pictures-Cora is growing up and sweet little Henry too. Both are adorable! Looks as if the baptism was wonderful and I know you had a happy birthday, Beth! Love, Aunt Marilyn
