We went grocery shopping this morning and as Cora's reward for being good, we went to the library. I love Wednesdays at our library. I swear all the books come back on Tuesday and by Thursday they're gone. (My errand day used to be Thursday.)
We picked out some really great books. One by the actor, John Lithgow, called "The Remarkable Farkle McBride" and another called "The Library." Cora was enthralled! We spent a half hour reading them! It wasn't until we began reading "Horton Hears A Who" that she began to get restless. And, FYI, these new books have gigantic vocab words in them, so don't be surprised the next time you see her if she uses the word "Splendiferous" in a sentence.
