It's chilly outside, about 36 degrees, but it's one of those GORGEOUS fall days where the sunlight is pouring through the orange and yellow leaves and everything is crisp and beautiful. Cora and I got dressed up in our winter coats and mittens and went for a walk all ready. It was wonderful.
Cora found a dandelion that had gone to seed, and as she picked it up she said, "Oh, look! A DandeFLOWER!"
I woke up yesterday morning with a sore throat and a cough. This morning it was the same, plus a runy nose. Hopefully this will pass soon. I called Cora's ECFE class to let them know that I was ill and that we wouldn't be coming today. So, Cora's watching Sesame Street instead. For her it's a special treat!
