Monday, Monday

Today was house blessing day. We changed the sheets and vacuumed, dusted and emptied trash. Then Cora and I went for a nice walk outside to the bridge where as Cora says "the cars go by" came back and had lunch. We laid down for a nap and while we were sleeping, my friend Mary called to ask if we'd like to go to the park.

When Cora woke up, we put on our shoes and went out to play with Cora's friends, David and Paul. By around 4:30 we arrived at home to find out Daddy was going to be working late. Normally, this would be enough to make any recovering from illness, pregnant mother of a two year old exhausted beyond reason, but, Aunt Emily was coming over, so no worries!

Here she comes to save the day... Aunt Emily is on the waaaay!

Cora and I had dinner and by the time we were finished, Aunt Em had arrived. All three of us went off to the grocery store for a treat. Mommy chose Hershey's Nuggets with Almonds to share with Em and Cora picked an M&M Cookie from the bakery. She was so excited to carry that cookie in it's clear celophane bag. All the way home she kept asking, "Are we home yet?" When we finally got in, we ate up the candy and cookie and then had a dance party.

Aunt Em is giving my sugared up Corabean a bath while I type. Thank God for my sister.

Adam just called to say he'll be home soon, so life is right again.
